KUALA LUMPUR: An emergency motion to discuss the proposed increase in assessment rates by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) in the Dewan Rakyat was rejected Tuesday.
Fong Kui Lun (DAP-Bukit Bintang) had proposed for the motion in view of DBKL's move, which he claimed would burden owners of houses and commercial premises in the city.
