City Orchard Park project yet to bear much fruit

Some newly-planted trees at the City Orchard Park.

KUALA LUMPUR: Construction work has been ongoing at the City Orchard Park at Kampung Delima in Jalan Bellamy, Kuala Lumpur for the past six years, but the project has literally yet to bear much fruit.

Work started on the project in 2006 as part of Visit Malaysia Year 2007, but a visit to the site by The Star revealed an orchard full of trees, but only a handful were fruiting.
