GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Bridge will be temporarily closed to all traffic from 1am to 10am on Sunday, Nov 17, in conjunction with the Penang International Bridge Run.

Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Bhd (PLUS) in a statement Thursday said the bridge would be closed for traffic from 1am to 10am.

The statement added that a number of roads leading to the bridge would also be closed for the same period to prevent any disruption during the run.

Motorists entering or leaving the Island are urged to use the Ferry services that will be in service for 24 hours.

"Motorists must follow the signage and direction put up by PLUS," said PLUS in the statement.

For more information on traffic flow on the bridge, motorists and members of the public are advised to contact Plusline, at 1800 88 0000. - Bernama
