Malaysian kicked out of Kickstarter for scamming about 100 project creators

PETALING JAYA: An "Encik Farhan" purporting to be a Malaysian in the crowd-funding initiative Kickstarter has been kicked out - over allegations that he has scammed about 100 project creators of goods and money.

In a statement issued by Kickstarter, the company said it had shut down the account of "Encik Farhan" after it and its U.S. payments processor, Amazon Payments were alerted to a series of “malicious” pledges by a single individual.
