PETALING JAYA: Malaysia will continue to strengthen the position of Islam in the country based on syariah law and wasatiyyah or the practice of moderation, says Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
In his Maal Hijrah message, the Prime Minister said the country would continue to uphold the sanctity of the religion and Kalimah Allah for the sake of the nation.
