Sg Limau by-election: ‘Sg Limau is Kedah’s main rice bowl’

YAN: PAS had been drumming the word kekal (maintain) into the minds of the voters to drive home the point that it wants Sungai Limau to remain the rice bowl of Kedah, state PAS commissioner Datuk Mahfuz Omar said.

“The rice produced in Sungai Limau is one of the best in Kedah and this place is the biggest rice bowl of the state. So, if the PAS candidate retains the seat, Sungai Limau will continue to contribute to society,” he said, adding that Barisan Nasional was announcing all kinds of projects for the constituency except agriculture.
