GEORGE TOWN: From today, consumers in Penang will have to pay double the water conservation surcharge (WCS) for every 1,000 litres if they use more than 35,000 litres each month.
Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) Sdn Bhd said the WCS has been gazetted in accordance with the Water Services Industry Act 2006 and takes effect today.
