GEORGE TOWN: North Indian families, comprising Sindhis, Punjabi Hindus and Punjabi Sikhs, flocked to the Sri Kunj Bihari Temple in Penang Road here for a Diwali gathering ahead of the actual festive day.

They were joined by a Tamil family in a show of comradeship with the North Indians.
