NRD to vet IDs of all security guards

PUTRAJAYA: The identification documents of all security guards in the country will be checked following the killing of a bank officer last week by a guard found to be holding a fake MyKad.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the checks, to be carried out by the National Registration Department through the biometric system, would be on armed and unarmed security guards.
