PETALING JAYA: Forty million ringgit will be set aside to widen and deepen Sungai Bertam following the recent flooding at Bertam Valley in Cameron Highlands, said the Prime Minister.
Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, when tabling the Budget yesterday, said this was an immediate measure to prevent the recurrence of the tragedy that killed three people.
