Umno polls: Branch chief faints at Setiu voting centre


SETIU: A Setiu Umno division delegate was not able to cast his vote at the party divisional and national elections when he fainted at the voting centre at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Saujana Setiu here about 11.15am Saturday.

Confirming the incident, Setiu division permanent chairman Mohd Ashari Haji Awang said the delegate Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad, 56, who is Gong Ubi Keling branch chief, had complained about feeling unwell and suddenly fainted when it was his turn to vote.
