KOTA BARU: Rats scurry around the surgical tables of the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital here leaving a strong stench of urine in the operation theatres, according to a medical officer.
The operation theatres are on the first floor of the 12-storey building of the campus which houses the Schools of Medical Sciences, Health Sciences and Dentistry.
