Tajol Rosli hits out at candidates critical of strict rules

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno election committee head Tan Sri Tajol Rosli Ghazali has hit out at candidates critical of the party’s strict election rules, saying that they were barking up the wrong tree.

Tajol Rosli said only the Umno supreme council had the power to change or scrap the party’s code of ethics that bans most forms of open campaigning in a bid to curb vote buying.
