KUALA LUMPUR: A former Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) quantity survey assistant director was charged in a Sessions Court here with seven counts of accepting bribes amounting to more than RM8,000 to pay for his wife's car instalments.
Ismail Ahim, 51, claimed trial to the charges before Judge Mohd Nasir Nordin on Monday.
