PERLIS Chinese Assembly Hall Wanita chief Datuk Michelle Soon has been elected the new chief of the women’s section of the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Hua Zong), major Chinese dailies reported.
Soon polled 26 votes to defeat Penang Chinese Assembly Hall Wanita chief Ooi Siew Kim by four votes in the section’s election held in Ipoh on Saturday.
