GEORGE TOWN: Former Penang Barisan Nasional chairman Teng Chang Yeow is now the new chairman for Penang Gerakan.

He beat state Gerakan legal and human rights bureau head Baljit Singh in a straight fight with a majority of 114 votes for the post formerly held by Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan.
