Almost ready - DOE report on diesel spill


PETALING JAYA: The Depart­ment of Environment (DOE) is finalising the investigation papers over the diesel spill that polluted a tributary of Sungai Selangor, said its director-general Datuk Halimah Hassan.

“We take the matter seriously and are monitoring the area every day. We will be forwarding our report (on the investigation) to the deputy public prosecutors for further action,” she said yesterday.
