PETALING JAYA: The murder case of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu will go to the Federal Court after the prosecution team filed a notice of appeal against the Court of Appeal decision to discharge and acquit the two Special Action Unit members, C/Insp Azilah Hadri and Kpl Sirul Azhar Umar, accused of killing her.
Deputy Solicitor-General II Tun Abdul Majid Tun Hamzah, in a text message, confirmed that he had filed the notice of appeal on the day of the judgment last Friday.
