PETALING JAYA: Canine advocacy took on a happy ending when several people “confiscated” eight mixed-breed and two pedigree puppies from deplorable living conditions at two locations.

In the first community rescue effort, several women confiscated six puppies that were being offered for sale at RM100 each at a night market in Taman Desa, Old Klang Road, on Friday.
