TRC helping in crane arm crash investigation

KUALA LUMPUR: Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd (TRC) will extend its fullest cooperation to the relevant authorities in the probe into the crash of a crane arm onto a car at the LRT extension project route in Subang Jaya on Saturday.

TRC executive chairman Datuk Seri Sufri Mohd Zin said the com-pany would work with Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (SPNB) and the Department of Occupational Safety and Health in the ongoing investigations into the incident.

He said the management and staff of the company expressed their regret for any inconvenience caused to any party as a result of the incident.

A car parked by the side of a road at USJ2/3 in Subang Jaya, near The Summit Subang USJ mall, was crushed by a crane arm that toppled at the LRT track construction site on Saturday. No one was injured in the incident. — Bernama
