Karpal tells court: Right or wrong, I thought I was right

KUALA LUMPUR: DAP national chairman Karpal Singh said that he was not aware that the Sultan of Perak had taken measures to ensure his actions were legal before appointing a new Mentri Besar during the Perak constitutional crisis.

“Right or wrong, I thought I was right,” said the veteran lawyer, when asked by DPP Noorin Badarudin if he was aware about the events in the Federal Court (that the Court had taken judicial notice by laying down the Sultan’s steps before he made the appointment).
