Thief jailed three days – after a heart attack


PETALING JAYA: A labourer had rough day when he was sent to prison for stealing a gas canister – days after having a heart attack while in remand.

Magistrate Surya Wati Shawal sentenced T. Sangar to three days in jail after he pleaded guilty to stealing the gas canister worth RM90 from trader Muhamad Hani Abdul Razal’s stall at a Ramadan bazaar along Jalan Persiaran Saujana, Saujana Utama at 12.30am on Aug 5.
