Hari Raya lively as ever for 54-year-old amputee


Halimatus SaÍdiah Abdullah accompanied by public relation officer C/Insp Maimunah Sujak at the wheelchair and walking stick presentation ceremony held in conjunction with Ramadan at Tongkang Pechah police station recently.

BATU PAHAT: Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations for Halimatus Sa’diah Abdullah will be lively as ever despite her disability after a leg amputation due to diabetes.

The 54-year-old clerk attached with the district police narcotics division said she lost her left leg above the knee three years ago after she had her toe removed in 2003.
