PETALING JAYA: Suaram secretariat member Cynthia Gabriel has been issued with a notice by the police to facilitate investigations under the Sedition Act in relation to a fund-raising dinner it held two weeks ago.
Gabriel said she was being investigated under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act following its fund-raising dinner, held on July 19, to raise funds for the ongoing inquiry in France on the Scorpene submarines.
