KUALA LUMPUR: Election Commission deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Omar has failed to strike out part of a defence statement by PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu and four others against his libel suit over the issuance of identity cards in Sabah.
High Court Judicial Commissioner Lee Heng Cheong dismissed the striking out application by Wan Ahmad saying that it had no merit.
