Umno ballots to be counted on Oct 5


PETALING JAYA: All the ballots cast nationwide by Umno’s 150,000 voters at the upcoming party election for its top office bearers will be counted by the end of polling day on Oct 5.

The party has yet to decide whether to announce the results immediately after the votes are tallied, but its information chief Datuk Ahmad Maslan said that it would be done as soon as possible.
