The parents of the children lodged a police report after they found their children missing a week ago.

The man dropped off the children at a bus station in Butterworth after news of the two missing children was posted online, it reported.

The police detained the man in Butterworth.

> The daily also reported that a swimming instructor threw an eight-year-old girl into the swimming pool as one of the ways to train her in Chongqing, China.

The girl was crying and refused to go into the pool at about 4pm on July 26 as she was afraid of water.

However, the instructor threw the girl into the water and stood there, it reported.

The instructor only took her out from the pool after awhile. The girl was rushed to the hospital but she was pronounced brain dead.
