PETALING JAYA: Hoarding and distribution problems have been cited as among the major reasons for the nationwide shortage of diesel, said Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Hasan Malek.
“The problem is actually because of certain quarters hoarding diesel. We have also received complaints regarding the problem of distribution in many areas,” he said when contacted yesterday.
