KUALA LUMPUR: 33 people, including Rembau PKR chief Badrul Hisham Shaharin (popularly known as Chegubard), Annie Ooi Siew Lan (Auntie Bersih) and student activist Adam Adli Abd Halim were charged in a Sessions Court here for participating in an unlawful assembly last month.
The 33 individuals were jointly charged with being members of the illegal assembly that caused a public nuisance at Jalan Parlimen on June 24 between 9.15am and 11.25am.
