KOTA KINABALU: Five petrol station operators in Sabah are being investigated for allegedly selling excessive amount of subsidised diesel in the wake of the week-long shortage of the fuel throughout the state.
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministrys Sabah deputy director Suhaimi Mat Sari said that the investigations were being carried out under the Control of Supplies Act 1961 for suspected sales of fuel that contravened their licences.
