Two sisters and niece perish in pre-dawn blaze


KOTA KINABALU: Two sisters and their niece were killed in a pre-dawn fire which destroyed a wooden house and damaged another in Sandakan.

Sandakan Fire and Rescue Department operations chief Johny Yap said the victims had been identified as Juliana Sikin, 24, who was physically challenged, her younger sister Kamisah, 17, and their six-year-old niece Nurnilam Sari.
