Goldsmith loses jewellery worth RM500,000 to five robbers

NILAI: Five men brandishing pistols robbed a goldsmith shop in Mantin near here of almost RM500,000 worth of jewellery.

The robbers, wearing crash helmets, burst into the shop at about 1pm yesterday. One of them fired a warning shot and ordered the owner, in his 50s, and three employees to remain quiet.
