KUALA LUMPUR: The son of a former deputy minister was fined RM40,000 by the Sessions Court here for using a forged document to win a government tender to build roads in Batu Pahat, Johor.
Judge Ahmad Zamzani Mohd Zain ordered Mohd Nizam Lajim, 31, whose father is former Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Lajim Ukin, to pay the amount after the accused changed his plea to guilty.
