Demand for diesel in Sabah exceeding petrol stations' monthly quotas

KOTA KINABALU: Owners of diesel-powered vehicles in Sabah are having to queue for as long one hour over the past few days just to buy fuel for their vehicles as petrol stations run low or have exhausted their supplies.

Many other petrol stations have used their monthly quota diesel and a grouping of station operators said the situation was due to a sharp increase in demand for the fuel.
