Syabu worth RM1.9mil seized by Customs Department in Langkawi


ALOR SETAR: An international drug trafficking syndicate is believed to be using Langkawi as a transit point after two consignments of syabu were seized at the Kuah jetty and the Langkawi International Airport.

Kedah Customs Department director Datuk Abd Aziz Abdul Latif said a 43-year-old man from South Africa, said to be a drug mule, was arrested at the airport on Sunday with 5.31kg of syabu worth more than RM1mil.
