KOTA KINABALU: A national reconciliation is needed to resolve Sabah’s longstanding problem about illegal immigrants, a local activist told the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI).
Dr Chong En Leong, who has spent about 20 years studying Sabah’s migrant population and the issuance of Malaysian identification documents to them, said the reconciliation should involve the masterminds of the scheme and get them to acknowledge their actions.
