Nigerian movie director gets 15 years’ jail for drug possession


SHAH ALAM: It was hardly a happy ending for a Nigerian movie director who was arrested with 2.4kg of methamphetamine when he was sentenced to 15 years in jail for drug possession.

Ifeanyi Johnpaul Aguonu, 38, was also slapped with 10 strokes of the cane for the offence he committed at the international arrival hall at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang at 10.45am on March 11, 2011.
