PETALING JAYA: The MIC has hit out at the Education Ministry over the alleged “unfair and biased” intake of Chinese and Indian students into public universities this year.
Party treasurer-general Datuk Jaspal Singh said while the intake of Chinese students had dropped from an average of 25% over the years to 19%, Indian students formed only 4% of the 41,573 accepted into public universities transiting.
