MALACCA: A Johor exco member’s remark that asam pedas (a hot and sour dish) is common across the country instead of being exclusive to Malacca has riled proud Malaccans who rely on it for their livelihood.
They have come together in declaring that Malacca’s version is unique and the best, although other states might have their own versions.
