MCMC to mediate in Web-related suit


KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has allowed the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to be the go-between in an Internet-related suit involving Canadian teacher Lee David Clayworth and his former Malaysian girlfriend, who now lives abroad.

Judicial commissioner Vazeer Alam Mydin Meera granted the MCMC application to intervene after hearing submissions from Shanti Mogan, who acted for the commission and counsels Ken St James and Harleen Kaur, who acted for Clayworth.
