Dry season expected to last until September

PETALING JAYA: Except for the southern part of the peninsula and Sarawak, which are expected to be drier, the southwest monsoon season this year is normal.

The Meteorological Department said most places would get about the same amount of rainfall as in previous dry seasons, but areas in the south of the peninsula and Sarawak would get between 20% and 40% less rainfall next month.
