PETALING JAYA: In the whole of Malaysia, only residents of Sandakan and Tawau are enjoying the privilege of breathing good quality air as the annual haze blankets major parts of Peninsular Malaysia, with some places hit by hazardous air quality.
At Air Pollution Index (API) readings of 50 and 42 respectively, Sandakan and Tawau are the only locations in the country with good readings (between zero and 50) as of Tuesday morning.
