Haze: Harbour pilots take extra precautions

PORT KLANG: Harbour pilots here are taking extra precautions in navigating their ships to the wharf due to the poor visibility caused by the haze.

Visibility off the waters in Port Klang had dropped to less than one nautical mile, compared to 15 nautical miles when the sky was clear, said harbour pilot Captain C.M. Lim.
