Haze: Moderate levels in Sabah, but concerns regarding effect on tourism remain


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah continues to be enveloped in a moderate level of haze, with the Department of Environment reporting an Air Pollutant Index (API) of 76 in some of parts of the state late Friday.

Eventhough the haze is not as severe, the state government is concerned about its immediate impact, including that on its tourism industry.
