Child in exorcism died of suffocation, court told


BUTTERWORTH: A two-year-old toddler who was pinned under eight people who were allegedly going through an exorcism died due to suffocation, a Sessions Court here heard.

Penang Hospital Forensic De­­­partment director Datuk Dr Zahari Noor said a thorough inspection on Chua Wan Xuen’s cadaver showed that there were traces of blood in her respiratory system. He said that meant that the child was still brea­thing when she was pinned down.
