PETALING JAYA: The conferring of awards by territorial heads and self-styled traditional leaders is not a new issue, but it drew fresh attention when congratulatory messages were posted in newspapers.
One of them was an advertisement (pic) in a Chinese daily on June 5 congratulating “Datuk” Sebestian Koh, who was given the award Dato Kehormat Undang Naning.
