KOTA KINABALU: An Indian national who obtained a Malaysian identity card just two years after arriving in Sabah told the Royal Commission of Inquiry that he wants to remain in Malaysia no matter what happens.
Peer Mohamad Kadir, 53, said he arrived in Sabah in 1984 using an Indian passport and heard about a programme where foreigners were given the Malaysian identity cards but did not manage to apply for it.
