KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has set July 3 to decide whether Umno, as a political party, can sue Batu MP Tian Chua and two others for defamation for allegedly linking the party to the Lahad Datu intrusion by Sulu terrorists.

High Court judge Justice Rosilah Yop fixed the date to deliver her decision after hearing submissions by both parties in chambers over the libel suit.
