Penang police bust motorcycle theft syndicate

BALIK PULAU: Police believe they have busted a motorcycle theft syndicate on Tuesday, which has been active since the middle of last year.

Ten suspects, including two women aged 16 and 27 were nabbed in various places to help facilitate the probe.

The syndicate members would first steal motorcycles before stripping off its parts and sold it to local people.

The syndicate was operating in Kedah, Perak and Penang before the bust.
