KUALA LUMPUR: The MIC will hold an emergency central working committee (CWC) meeting on June 18 to discuss issues related to branch, division, presidential and national elections, said party president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel.
This follows a letter from MIC strategic director S. Vell Paari in which he claimed to have the support of one-third of the 38 CWC members required under the party constitution to call for an emergency meeting.
